Man, I’m so glad The Hunger Games hype was over by the time the SJW phase had fully taken over the internet and visual media discourse. It’s a great series with deep and powerful messages that of course the SJWs would try and appropriate to their cause (ironic) which would actually misunderstand the books. I just saw a popular post that,while it had some correct points on what the movies messed up from the books and how it lessened the themes, it was also filled with loads of hogwash. If the fandom was booming in today’s political climate…geez, that really would be another fandom ruined. THG would have turned into SW, SU, HP, VLD, *insert fandom full of discourse and hateful little sh*ts*. We really dodged a bullet.
