But guys I think the reason why Neville stayed loyal to Luna’s friendship despite the rumours of Luna being insane is because Neville knows what real insanity looks like. Think about it he and his grandmother visit Neville’s parents quite frequently. Both of his parents were tortured to insanity by death eaters and they were now in St Mungo’s. His parents couldn’t even recognise their son. He knows what real insanity looks like and he knows for a fact that Luna is about as sane as anyone else.
